Ich habe dieses Notariat sowohl als Firma als auch als Privatperson mehrfach seit Eröffnung des Notariats in Anspruch genommen. Sei es Testamentsvorsorge, NIE-Nummer, Vollmachten oder Kauf/ Verkauf von Immobilien, die Notarin arbeitet sehr gewissenhaft. Im Vergleich zu anderen Notariaten ist sie sehr zugänglich und nimmt sich bei jeder Beurkundung ausreichend Zeit- auch für Fragen, die geduldig beantwortet werden. Die Anwesenheit eines professionellen Dolmetschers bei Ausländern ist selbstverständlich, darüber hinaus sprechen alle gut Englisch. Das Notariat informiert vorab ohne Mehrkosten, welche Dokumente jeweils benötigt werden, wenn man privat ( ohne Anwalt) etwas beurkunden lassen will. Über 10 Jahre habe ich bei notariellen Angelegenheiten nun das sichere Gefühl, in guten Händen zu sein, Grund genug, jetzt auch eine Rezension hinterlassen zu können.
I have used this notary's office several times since it opened, both as a company and as a private individual. Whether it's a will, NIE number, powers of attorney or buying/selling property, the notary works very conscientiously. Compared to other notary's offices, she is very approachable and takes enough time for each notarisation - also for questions, which are answered patiently. The presence of a professional interpreter for foreigners is a matter of course, and everyone speaks good English. The notary's office informs you in advance, at no extra cost, which documents are required if you want to have something notarised privately (without a lawyer). For over 10 years now, I have had the secure feeling that I am in good hands when it comes to notarial matters, reason enough to leave a review now.

We approached this company with a view towards obtaining a birth certificate for our daughter. As Spanish 2nd language speakers and being new to the island we wanted to pay professionals to 'get the job done, hassle free'.
They submitted the paperwork but the government office entered an incorrect date on the birth certificate and the notary did not check the certificate when it was received.
We spotted the mistake and went back to the notary the same day, asking them to contact the relevant office and ask for the birth certificate to be reissued with the correct data. They downright refused.
Now we are going to have to try and sort the problem ourselves, with no knowledge of the systems and with Spanish as a second language. Alternatively, we will have to employ the services of another company to go back to the relevant government body.
We will not be using the services of Maria N Mayol Contreras again and would recommend others to consider our experience before hiring the services of this company.

I found every aspect of the service offered by this company to be top notch. From email exchanges to the signing of documents in the office. Everything was efficient, professional and friendly. As a UK resident, I was slightly apprehensive dealing with legal things in Spain. I actually found them easier to deal with than a lawyer in London - and the fees were more than reasonable. I couldn’t recommend them more.
